This article applies to all products and all kinds of shops. You want to order something somewhere, but you don’t trust the provider(s). What now?
The reviews of a webshop shows immediately whether this is a confidential shop or not.
What is a review?
A review is the experience of a buyer. There are review websites where you can give a star rating. There is also an option to write a text in which the buying experience is described.
Where can I find reviews?
The most famous sites that are tracking reviews are Facebook and Google+. Look at the Facebook or Google+ page of the (online) shops.
There are also many other websites that track reviews. These are often displayed on product pages in the shop itself. Here are some confidential websites that track reviews: Webwinkelkeur, Trusted Shops, Kiyoh, Disqus, eKomi, The Feedback Company and Yotpo.
Nor is there much information on forums. So search on Google for reviews.
How do I know an online shop is a confidential shop, based on the reviews?
A poor shop quickly get a bad reputation on the Internet. The whole internet is instantly filled with bad reviews. Especially when the shop has been around for a while (one year or longer).
A couple or (in percentage) few reviews make a site not non-confidential or bad.
